The Northeast Writing Centers Association has decided to mirror our parent organization, the International Writing Centers Association, in moving to a bi-annual conference model. Therefore, stay tuned for information on the NEWCA Conference for 2025!
Before 2020 (and the global pandemic), NEWCA hosted an annual conference. In Winter 2021, the Steering Committee voted to attach a stipend to the Conference Chair position.
We were excited to host our annual conference in Spring 2023 at University of New Hampshire. If you are interested in hosting in a subsequent year, please get in touch with the NEWCA Executive Committee. Below, find a checklist for hosting a conference.
